Davis Islands restaurants, near downtown Tampa

Davis Islands is a busy residential area just south of downtown Tampa. It is a good place to eat if you don't want to look for parking in downtown. 

There are two blocks of restaurants with outdoor seating: Oggi Italian, Margaritas Mexican, and Island Bistro and Bar which has a fountain in the middle of the outdoor dining area. DI Coffee Bar is a nice spot to sit outside and enjoy a cup of coffee. Thai Island restaurant has delicious boba tea.
Walk north on noisy Davis Blvd to check out the beautiful architecture of some of the historic condos.
Davis islands has a small airport, Peter O. Knight Airport, on its southern tip, with some walking paths on the water at Seaplane Basin Park and next to it, an area popular with dog owners called Davis Island Dog Beach and Davis Island Dog Park. Davis Island Beach, which is inside the dog basin (facing west) has a few less dogs, and good views of the seaplanes landing. The water is dirty so it's best to just go for a walk. This is across from Tampa Port, an industrial area. There is plenty of free parking.

The restaurants are located around 214 E. Davis Blvd, Tampa 33606. There is plenty of slanted parking along the street. Parking is free.
