Hunter Springs Park Beach, Crystal River
It is wonderful to take a dip in the cool spring water of Crystal River at Hunter Springs Park! Here there's a white sand beach with palm trees. The swimming area is roped off from boats. As you swim you can see tropical fish through the crystal clear water! It's so beautiful and I felt elated in this spot! You can also sit on the wall enjoying the cool breeze off the water. There are no-see-ums or other bugs though. Families love this beach as its sheltered and perfect for kids and babies. There is a small, tall playground on the grass.
After, rinse off at the beach shower. There are restrooms too.
You can kayak Crystal River from the kayak launch area at this park if you have your own kayak.
For a meal, drive over to Tipsy Tarpon, where you can sit under your own thatched hut in the white sand, with breezes off the water. The grilled chicken sandwich is delicious.

Hunter Springs Park is located at 104 NE 1st Ave, Crystal River, FL. There is a large parking lot, for a fee.
