The Bluff View Art District in Chattanooga is a magical place. It begins with the romantic blue Walnut Street Bridge in the west, then the glass pedestrian bridge that leads to the Hunter Museum of Art with its amazing views over the river. Outside the museum are many sculptures. Continue east on 2nd Street and you come to cute turn of the century historic houses, and the Bluff View Sculpture Garden. The feeling here is incredible because every thing is so high up over the water! Past the sculpture garden is a small blue pedestrian bridge. Across the street you find the Bluff View Bakery (open 12-5), down some stairs. It's a working bakery with no seating but delicious fresh bread. For a bakery with yummy muffins and window seating, check out Rembrandt's Coffee, on High Street.
