Market Square, Knoxville
Market Square is a great place to stroll, people watch, and eat outside at a sidewalk cafe. There is a splash fountain in the center, and on summer Saturday mornings, a farmers market. Street performers come out to entertain, and there are plenty of benches. Strung lights make it magical at night.
Go for a walk along Gay Street to see more restaurants or in Krutch Park with its art sculptures across Union Ave from Market Square.
There are some homeless people unfortunately.

The parking garage on Wall Ave is right at the square and costs $6. Parking is free after 6pm and on weekends.
