Nani Mau Gardens is a beautiful formal, tropical garden with paved walking trails (open Mon-Fri 10-5, $5 admission). There is a grand fountain at the entrance, and then a house with a big lanai. A small garden area leads out into the nature gardens where there are paved walking paths past beautiful trees and tropical plants. In the distance you can see the Indonesian gazebo that stands over the gardens, and long rows of Norfolk pines silhouetted against the sky.
The gardens  also hold special events, such as Pumpkin Patch in October. Pumpkin Patch 2024 (Oct 26-31) was a fun event, with a man twisting balloons into flowers, swords, and dogs for kids to take home. There is a New Years Light Show event coming December 2024.
