Esplanade Plaza, Oxnard

Esplanade Shopping Plaza in Oxnard is a colorful, attractive outdoor mall. There are some great stores and a sunny area to sit and sip a coffee surrounded by palms. Kids climb the dolphin statues, and enjoy a European candy bar from Cost Plus World Market. Older kids like the clothes at Tilly's and Nordstrom's Rack. When you're hungry, try Ozeki Noodle or Chipotle Mexican Grill.

The Food 4 Less store has some great deals on groceries.
Most of Oxnard is industrial agriculture but there are some nice areas to check out while you're here, such as Downtown Oxnard with its gorgeous Plaza Park. Beach areas to see are Port Hueneme with its white sand and cool pier. Oxnard Beach has some great dunes. Channel Islands Harbor has a nice playground by the water at Peninsula Park.
Just minutes away from Esplanade Plaza is another nice outdoor mall called RiverPark.

Directions

Exit Highway 101 at Vineyard Ave and head southwest (toward the ocean not the mountains). Turn right immediately on Esplanade Dr and the mall is on your right.
