Memorial Park, Ventura

Memorial Park sits atop a hill overlooking the ocean. It's a spot to sit in the shade of a big, lovely tree and take in the views of Ventura. The surrounding area on Poli Street is nice to walk around. You can walk all the way to City Hall, enjoying ocean views and Victorian houses along the way!
Recently, this park has dogs running around off leash, though it is not allowed actually.

Directions

From Highway 101 southbound, exit at Main Street and follow it for a little while. Turn left on Palm Street and then right on Poli Street. Follow it many blocks and the park will be on your right. You can park along the road.
From Highway 101 northbound exit at California Street and turn right on California St. Turn right Poli St and when you see the park on your right you can park along the road.
The address for the parking is 1295 Poli Street.
