Olivas Adobe

Olivas Adobe is a historic adobe house with a small herb garden, gift shop, and a rose garden. It is located in the middle of dusty agricutlural lands, next to a golf course. The rose garden is lovely to see in April, with large roses of many colors in a rectangular plot behind the gift shop. There is not much else here though and no grounds to stroll around. There wouldn't be much reason to come in seasons other than spring (for the roses). The courtyard of the house is a nice spot for weddings.

mid-July to end of August there are outdoor concerts here for $20, on Saturday nights at 7:30pm.
Nearby, check out colorful Ventura Harbor, with a great atmosphere on weekends and lots of fun things for kids.

Olivas Adobe is located at 4200 Olivas Park Dr, Ventura, CA 93001. There is plenty of free parking. 
The small garden is open Sun 11-4.
