Coddington Mall, Santa Rosa

Coddington Mall is an attractive indoor mall where you can stop and get out of the hectic Santa Rosa traffic. There are plenty of places to grab a sandwich (Subway), snack or ice cream (Baskin Robbins- yum!). My son enjoyed looking at the saltwater tropical fish tank in the middle of the mall, which displays a lion fish, a parrot fish, and a spotted guinea puffer. The Hallmark store is fun to visit with kids and Whole Foods is an awesome addition to this mall. There's some cute painted benches in the mall and a big Charlie Brown character, since Santa Rosa is the home of Charles Schultz.
While in Santa Rosa, you can't miss Howarth Memorial Park, a truly wonderful place for kids, with a huge assortment of play equipment, a train ride, splash pad in summer, and rock climbing wall. Also nearby check out downtown Santa Rosa with its cafes tucked into red brick historical facades. In downtown, walk the lovely and free Luther Burbank Gardens, chock full of roses and unusual plants.

Directions

Exit Highway 101 at Steele Lane and turn west. Turn left at Cleveland Ave into the mall.
