Plage des Marquisats, Annecy
It's absolutely beautiful to look out across the lake from Plage des Marquisats, south of the old town of Annecy. The water is crystal clear and the mountains across the lake soar up to the sky. A lawn provides room for people to picnic and lay out in the sun. There is also a park with a walking path and abundance of trees- it looks just magical on the water's edge. Little boulders dot the shoreline. And wildflowers are all around. There is a walking path along the waterfront all the way from Annecy town. A bike path runs alongside it, and around the entire lake. There is also workout equipment along the path. You can join this walk up with the waterfront path in Jardins de l'Europe and Le Paquier, and go even further north to Plage de l'Imperial. This is an amazing walk along the lake!
After, have a meal in old town Annecy, amid the colorful buildings and archways.

Plage des Marquisats is located at 58 Rue des Marquisats, 74000 Annecy, France. There is a large parking lot. You can also walk there from old town Annecy in only 15 minutes.
