It's pleasant to walk the two mile greenway around Cary Park Lake. Here there are an assortment of deciduous and pine trees, mistletoe bushes, and long golden grasses, the kind birds like. The lake is a subdued color but sparkles in the sunlight. The greenway is clearly marked with bright blue and green posts at each entry point. The path is wide and paved. As you walk along you see large houses with nice architecture and pass the occasional neighbor walking their dog or going for a bike ride.
After, have a meal or cup of tea at Parkside Town Commons, a nine minute drive away.
