Parkside Town Commons, Cary
Parkside Town Commons is an attractive modern development with many stores and cafes. There are plenty of restaurants with pretty outdoor seating, such as Stellino's Italiano or Hickory Tavern. If you just want a cup of tea, there's a Starbucks, and Panera Bread. Speakers play 80s music as you walk around the shopping center and it sounds good! A nice business in this plaza is Flour Power Kids Cooking Studio, where kids can take classes or attend summer camps.
After, go for a walk around Cary Park Lake on the pleasant greenway, a nine minute drive away.
