Kids Together Playground, Marla Dorrell Park, Cary

Kids Together Playground at Marla Dorrell Park is a wonderful place! Here kids can run up little hills where parts of a dragon poke out! There are lots of winding paths where kids can scooter or ride tricycles. Different play areas provide a new thing to do every half hour. There is a large structure with lots of climbing, an accessible see saw, a roller slide, and swings. Another tall playground has tunnels galore. A little kid area has two play houses, a bridge to run across, and little picnic areas. There is a sand area with scoopers. An ice cream truck sometimes comes by on weekends, with cute melodies playing.

After, walk the Hinshaw Greenway through the forest (it starts at Kids Together Playground). It connects up with a bridge over the freeway (loud and exciting for little ones), which leads to another trail in another forest, MacDonald Woods Park, with a good playground. It's fun to do two playgrounds in one day! The walk between the two is about 0.7 miles, or 1.4 miles roundtrip. 
If you want to extend your walk, there is another 0.7 mile stretch of greenway called Pirate's Cove Greenway nearby. 
After, have breakfast, lunch, or a snack at counter-service Chanticleer Cafe and Bakery, a six minute walk or three minute drive from Kids Together Playground.
