Oviedo on the Park

Oviedo on the Park is a nice development on a small lake in Oviedo. Here you will find a jogging path around the lake, wooden boardwalk, strung lights, a fountain, giant chess board, swan paddle boats, a splash pad with water shooting up from the ground, and an awesome playground for kids. The playground, Center Lake Park, has shade canopies and many unique features such as a large lizard monster to climb. There are always tons of kids here having fun. Concerts take place at the amphitheater, and you can buy a picnic at the nearby fast food restaurants like Chipotle or a juicer juice at Clean Juice. The only downside to this area is that it has a very stark look, with lots of cement and few trees.

It's about half a mile to walk around the lake.
Also check out the playground at Friendship Park, five minutes drive away. It has tall tall slides that big kids love!
