Plaza Venezia, Southwest Orlando

Plaza Venezia is a beautiful shopping center in the Dr. Phillips area of Southwest Orlando. The architecture is Italian, and there is an abundance of palm trees. It will cheer you up just to see it! Here you can enjoy a Starbucks that has a very colorful painting inside. There is Huey Magoo's if you need a counter-service restaurant with delicious chicken. And for international chocolates and souvenirs, check out Publix, a very clean, bright supermarket. Continue west past Publix and you will find a Barnes and Noble Bookstore with many fantastic, reasonably-priced toys.

Across Sand Lake Road are the Dellagio restaurants with super fun Craig Miller's Field House sports bar with its breezy patio. Restaurant Row also has a bunch of great restaurants, plus Ok But Coffee First, a nice coffee shop. In this area across Sand Lake Road you will also find Trader Joe's, the best supermarket out there! It has gorgeous tropical landscaping around it.
This area, called Dr. Phillips, looks so upscale you'd think it would be a great place to live but it actually has bad middle and high schools.
