There are many fantastic walks in Celebration, the town created by Disney, and this is the most popular one. It is varied, taking you past the fun town center where people sit at cafes and Starbucks, on the promenade around the main lake past baby alligators and birds of all kinds, and through two jungly forests between lakes, and past mansions. One mansion even has a waterslide from the top of it into its pool, and you see this from behind the house, across the (third) lake!

Come early so you can find parking. And hold your child's hand since there are alligators. There is plenty of shade but early morning is usually the best time for a walk in Florida, especially in summer.
After, have a break at Starbucks in Celebration Town Center.
Here is the route. Bring your phone with google maps GPS set to "walk" so you can find your way back if you get lost!
Park along the street at 800 Celebration Ave. Head over to Starbucks. Walk along the lake boardwalk. Check out Market Street while you're here. Continue past Kilwin's Ice Cream and the splash pad on the lake. Continue along the canal on Front Street (skip the canal part and turn right over the bridge to Celebration Lakeside Park and onto the lakeside path if you want to shorten the walk). At the end of the canal, turn right onto the pedestrian bridge, and dive into the forest path behind the tennis courts. When you come out at the lakeside path, turn left and walk around the main lake. Dive into the next forest path (turn left onto a wooden boardwalk) to the second lake, Lake Evalyn, and again onto a wooden boardwalk to the third lake. At the end of the third lake, head to East Crescent Park and then walk up Eastlawn Dr (if it's a hot day just go back the way you came since Eastlawn Dr is not shady) past mansions. Here there are gorgeous cypress trees in a lake. Turn right on Celebration Ave and follow it under a thick canopy of oak trees, back to your car. This is a three mile walk.
