Patch Reef Park will keep your kids entertained for hours. In a beautiful setting of tall shade trees, playgrounds galore line up side by side! There is a grassy area with swings, a tire swing, and a turtle to sit on. Next are several boulders with ropes in between to climb. There's a tree house playground. In red and yellow colors is a large ship playground, a dolphin bouncy and a sea horse bouncy. Best of all is the huge alligator sculpture stretched out on the ground in the middle of these playgrounds! Cleverly placed in the middle of it all are picnic gazebos. There is a pirate ship splash area with water guns, and palm trees that shoot out mist. This area is much better than most splash pads because the water comes from above rather than shooting up at kids' bottoms, making it much more kosher! Older kids like the space age playground where you can spin like mad on several interesting contraptions. The electronics in this playground were not figured out by anyone that I saw! There is also a toddler playground.

Across from the playgrounds, there are many basketball courts in a lovely setting, and a winding path that leads to secluded picnic areas. Little hills abound in this park, especially fun for Florida kids!
There are a lot of fireants in this park in summertime.
Another top playground in Boca Raton is Sugar Sand Park, with its wooden science-themed playground, free science center, and carousel.
