Del Mar Shores Dog Park, Del Mar
Del Mar Shores Park is a baseball diamond next to a basketball court, but it is used as a dog park until 8:30am, plus after 3:30pm on Tues, Thurs, and Saturdays. In the morning, locals gather with their dogs, and chat. It is a friendly scene. From there, they can walk a block to the Sea Cliff Coastal Trail, to walk on the vertical bluffs above the beach.
It is usually foggy every morning here, until the sun breaks through.
After, have a chocolate croissant at Darshan French Bakery, a four minute walk away.
