Leucadia State Beach is a very beautiful beach where you stand on top of a high cliff overlooking a beach of huge pebbles. A steep path lined with wildflowers takes you down to the water. This is Beacon's Surf Break. Stay a while and listen to the waves pull the pebbles back and forth. Delight in the fun scene of surfers jumping into the waves. I stayed a very long time, loving every minute of this beautiful spot.
To walk to the colorful cafes in Leucadia town, walk on Neptune Ave to Europa Street or Leucadia Blvd or Jasper Street, and take this street until you reach Coast Highway 101.

There is parking at the top of the cliff above the beach. It is limited to about twenty spaces. You can also park on Coast Highway 101 and walk to the beach. I parked at 726 Coast Highway 101 (if you need an address for your GPS).
