Downtown City Park Playground, Paso Robles

Downtown City Park is in the center of the lovely walkable downtown of Paso Robles. Here, after eating at one of the cute cafes or checking out a cool shop, you can bring your kids for an awesome play on the playground! The park is a huge rectangle with an abundance of pine trees and grass. On the southern end is the playground. The toddler playground has a roller slide, bouncy seesaw, playhouse, baby swings, and structure with shade covering. The big kid playground has a roller to run on, circles that spin, curved climbeys, spiral play station, bridge, monkey bars, slides, rubber hammock, spinner, four swings, an awesome accessible four-seater seesaw, and an accessible merry go round that kids can't get enough of! There are always plenty of kids to play with here because it's such a great park! A shade canopy covers the entire playground, making it wonderful even on hot days.

Little cement circles make for a nice place for parents to sit.
Summer concerts in the park take place at the lovely gazebo in City Park on Thursdays 6-8pm from mid-June to the end of August.
City Park has some of the loveliest Christmas lights I've ever seen! Very romantic, with long strands of lights hanging elegantly from the old, regal trees. Vine Street, one block away, has decorated Victorian homes, and one day in mid-December, a Vine Street Christmas Victorian Showcase event, where the street is closed and everyone walks along it. 
Afterward, check out the super fun Children's Museum in Paso Robles, an easy walk from the playground. Kids love it with its pizza kitchen, Newton's playhouse where they can shoot balls, grocery market with carts and more!
