The Embarcadero Coastal Access Walkway is a lovely walkway on the bay in front of the cafes in Morro Bay town! You see sailboats bobbing and hear seals barking as you walk along with Morro Rock always in view. There are benches were you can sit with your lover and watch the sunset. On late summer and fall evenings it is warm enough to do this. At all times of year, you will want a puffer jacket though. Stop and have a boba tea at Sweet Reef Boba. And let your kids play on the mosaic tile sculptures (845 Embarcadero)! There is an octopus and a sea otter.
Embarcadero Coastal Access Walkway starts at 945 Embarcadero at Anchor Memorial Park, and ends at 593 Embarcadero. But I like to take a weekend walk with my husband all the way from the sea otters at the T Pier to Tidelands Park, a gorgeous spot with an awesome playground. The Embarcadero Coastal Access Walkway is in middle part of this walk, which goes for 0.8 miles.
