An event you will never forget is the Witches and Warlocks Paddle in Morro Bay! It occurs a few days before Halloween each year. People dressed as witches and warlocks paddle around on stand up paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, and boats, their shapes silhouetted against the sparkling water. Sometimes the witches even cackle! It's so fun to dress up yourself, and walk the perimeter of the bay watching the goings on. The action is at Coleman Park and all the areas around it, including the boardwalk and any spots in the town where there is a pier jutting out into the bay.
In 2023, the Witches Paddle was on Sunday October 29, at noon.
