Floridays Woodfire Grill, Anna Maria Sound
Floridays Woodfire Grill is in a wonderful breezy spot on the water! Here you can kick back, outside even in the heat of summer, and not be too hot because of the strong breeze. The breeze also keeps the mosquitoes away, a welcome relief. The food is good and the staff are friendly. The outdoor seating is under a huge thatched roof. This restaurant saved our day when it was too hot to do anything else in the middle of the day but we wanted to be outside because of covid.
There are several paddling and boat tour companies located here, and a harbor you can walk around. Next door at Compass Hotel you can have a drink at their bar and enjoy the views of the marina from their huge balcony. Across the street check out Neal Preserve with its tower with views. And make sure to check out the charming atmosphere on Anna Maria Island.

Floridays Woodfire Grill is located next to the tall Compass Hotel, before the bridge to Anna Maria Island. The address is 12332 Manatee Ave W, Bradenton, FL 34209. There is plenty of free parking. It is open for lunch and dinner.
