Grand Park is a lovely place to take a stroll. Here you will find charming bridges over the lake, and little hills to run up and down. Kids will adore the amazing playground, Savannah's Playground, which just keeps continuing with more and more play equipment. The piece de resistance are the cable swings that kids can ride, two strap-in swings and one disc swing. There is a fun four-person seesaw. The music area of the playground has gorgeous chimes tuned to the pentatonic scale. The older, yellow music stations scattered throughout the park don't work.
After, walk across Farrow Parkway to Market Common, a beautiful outdoor mall with fountains, cute trees, flower pots, and colorful architecture. P.F. Changs is a good place to eat here.

Directions

Grand Park is located at 3640 Emmens Ave, Myrtle Beach. This is a huge parking lot on the ugly end of the park. It's nicer to start at Market Commons near Nevers Street and then walk across Farrow Blvd, and then the pretty bridge over the lake, to the park.
