Saltwater Cowboys, Mt. Pleasant, near Charleston
Saltwater Cowboys is a real beauty! It is a three level restaurant on the water in Mt. Pleasant, across the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge from Charleston. Here you can eat indoors in an attractive space with a wood beam ceiling and a zillion windows, even up high above you. The lighting is very nice too. You can also eat downstairs, in the outdoor area where lights are strung, or in the bar where there's a fire pit. You can walk up to the third level to see the sunset and the amazing views toward Charleston Harbor. The food is just ok, but it's worth coming for the views and pleasant service. They also serve a Thanksgiving meal.
There are tons of nice things to check out nearby: Patriots Point and the USS Yorktown, Mt. Pleasant Pier and the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, and Sullivan's Island and Isle of Palms.
