Walking along St Lucie Blvd is pleasant. You pass houses with nice gardens. Some are mansions. Occasionally you can see the intracoastal waterway. You walk over Manatee Bridge, where you will often see manatees in the canal on very cold winter days. The best part of the walk is the banyan tree canopy, just north of Sandsprit Park, at Bent Banyan Way. It's blissful to walk here! Come on a cold day when there are no mosquitoes.

You can park at Sandsprit Park (a wonderful place to walk as well) and then walk four miles until you get to Evan Crary Bridge (the bridge that goes to Hutchinson Island) and then return. Some of the time you have shade but not always, so come on a winter day.
This street has some nice Christmas decorations in December.
Keep your eyes on your feet because the sidewalk is uneven in some places.
