Woodland Trails Park in Port St Lucie is a super fun park! There is the biggest shade canopy you've ever seen! Underneath is a playground with lots to do. There is a mushroom table and stools for kids, bongo drums, a log tunnel, swings, baby swings, frog puzzle, and a big kid play structure with a double slide and a toddler structure. The best part is a double swing for mommies and babies to swing together facing each other. The play area is fenced.
For adults, there's a large cluster of workout stations. Young guys like to come here all through the day. Parents can use the workout gear while watching their kids on the playground.
There are plenty of shaded picnic tables for families to gather. And there's a fenced dog run with play equipment for dogs, and two separate areas depending on your dog's size.
There is a soccer field, and a 900 meter path that goes around the park but isn't that shady- the trail only dips into flatwood pine forest for a tiny while.
Clean restrooms are another plus at this park.
Since there's no waterway nearby, there's not much of a breeze.
This park is super close to Highway 95 so it makes a good stopping point on a road trip. Another good stop is Tradition town, ten minutes north- a good place to have lunch at Panera and browse some big shops.

Woodland Trails Park is located at 1485 SW Calmar Ave, Port St. Lucie, FL 34953. There is plenty of free parking.
