Picnic By the Sea at Goleta Beach Park

Pick up an Adovada burrito at El Sitio Restaurant Fairview, a counter-service cafe. This is spicy pulled pork, rice, and beans, in a perfectly browned tortilla! Lay out your picnic blanket on the east end of Goleta Beach- the area that has green lawn. After your meal, go for a walk on the pier!

Oceanview Picnic at La Mesa Park

La Mesa Park is probably the best picnic spot in Santa Barbara. Buy your organic picnic at the deli at Lazy Acres Market, across the street up the hill. Then lay out a big blanket on the lawn with views of the sea!

Clifftop Picnic at Coal Oil Point

Bring an oatmeal muffin and a cup of tea from Anna's Bakery for a morning picnic on the dreamy cliffs in front of UCSB Faculty Housing.

Picnic By a Stream, at Steven's Park

For a foresty picnic- Buy the yummiest chocolate croissant, at Renaud's in Loreto Plaza, and take it to Steven's Park, a small park tucked into a canyon with a stream that runs through it. This neighborhood has less fog than the coast.

Picnic at Willowglen Park

Grab a delicious salad with crunchy jicama at Natural Cafe Hitchcock, and enjoy it at peaceful Willowglen Park. On a foggy day, you might find sunshine here.
