It's exciting to walk down Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, admiring the gold and silver sparkling storefronts. The bright colors and slick cars make you think for a minute you're in Miami. This is not the sterile rich-guy shopping center you're used to seeing everywhere these days. Yes, you can't afford anything on this street, but it's still a lively spot with plenty of young people and a great feel to it.
Normal people can eat on Beverly Drive, one street over. There are plenty of cafes and coffee shops such as Starbucks, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, Chipotle, and Sharky's Mexican. There is a Tom's Toys here for kids.
At the intersection of Rodeo Dr and Dayton Way, there is a steep winding pedestrian-only street that is perfect to a T. Here is a box full of pink roses where you can take a selfie with the words "#OnlyonRodeo." At the end of the pedestrian-only street is a nice fountain and staircase.
Where Rodeo Dr ends, cross Santa Monica Blvd to get to Beverly Gardens Park and the famous Beverly Hills sign- another spot for a selfie. Will Rogers Memorial Park is a gorgeous spot to relax in the gardens.
The famous part of Rodeo Dr is located south of Santa Monica Blvd and north of Wilshire Blvd. Beverly Drive, also cool, runs parallel to Rodeo Dr one street over. To find these two fun streets, use this address in your GPS: 210 N. Rodeo Dr, Beverly Hills CA 90210.
There are a lot of parking lots on Beverly Dr that offer the first two hours free. Use this address to find the general area of the parking lots: 270 N. Beverly Dr, Beverly Hills CA 90210.
