Blue Pointe Bar and Grill is an amazing discovery when you enter it! It sits on a piece of land jutting into the aquamarine intracoastal waters. A strong breeze keeps you cool at any time of day, and also keeps the mosquitoes away. Coconut trees sway in the wind, grass huts and a yellow canopy provide shade, and blue adirondack chairs allow you to kick back and meditate on the lapping water. This is bliss!

The best part is that there is live music! And the bands are often exceptionally good! I mean, who would not want to play in a place as gorgeous as this? Make sure you tip the band generously so that more great musicians keep coming! So far our favorite musicians have been Jason Colannino (with awesome songs like Penny Lane and Carolina on my Mind), guitarist Aldo Marchant, The Klik, Ryan Owens, and Nicholas Garnett.
The staff are friendly and good-looking at this bar, even bringing you in a golf cart from the parking lot if you don't want to walk.
You can choose to sit under the huge yellow canopy beside the pool on chairs and tables, or along the edge of the water on adirondack chairs or tables.
Come on a weekday for the perfect atmosphere. On weekends it gets crowded and there's a party scene.
You can rent kayaks next door at Pointe Paddle. There is also a pretty hotel next door, called The Pointe, with white sand in front of it, but I'd only stay there in winter because the AC units are incredibly loud.
Check out other waterfront places to eat in Jupiter.
After, go on a boat tour of the black alligator-filled river at Jonathon Dickinson Park, which is 7 minutes drive north. Or take a boat tour of the amazing intracoastal waterway and learn about the mansions along it, on the Manatee Queen, 7 minutes drive south. You could climb the Jupiter Lighthouse, 5 mins south, or check out the clear water's edge in the park below the lighthouse and walk to Catos Bridge. Or visit Dubois Lagoon, 11 mins south, a clear water paradise at high tide when the ocean is flowing into the inlet.
It's always nice to have a coffee or check out the art gallery nearby in Tequesta town. Blue Pointe Bar and Grill is located between Tequesta town and Hobe Sound, another nice place with lots of open land and trails to explore.
