Royal Poinciana Plaza is a shopping plaza with sculptures and flowers, for the mega rich. There are magenta-colored flowering trees, gray buildings, a playhouse with sculptures atop, and plenty of ritzy cars. A courtyard in the center has a bullet-shaped statue and a huge fountain and you can eat in the cafe called Sant Ambroeus, beside the fountain. Celis Produce has delicious smoothies, cold brew coffees, and juicer juices, plus wraps, sandwiches on fresh-baked bread, acai bowls, and bagel sandwiches. Enjoy the pleasant, outdoor seating in the plaza.
From the plaza, you can walk under the Flagler Memorial Bridge. The walkway is so sweet, with yellow walls, and gothic lanterns. The architecture of the bridge looks impressive from below, the shape reminding me of the Sydney Opera House. Continue under the bridge and you'll find Bradley Park.
Here is a gazebo with fantastic views, especially at sunset, and a wonderful recessed area with stepping stones, flowers, and little grass mounds to kick back on. Families like to play here and relax.
Royal Poinciana Plaza is not to be confused with the Via Flagler Shops on the north side of Royal Poinciana Way. They are fun to explore, with an ice cream shop and Field of Greens for juicers and smoothies.
From Bradley Park you can walk north on the North Lake Trail, for beautiful views of the intracoastal, yachts, and mansions, and lots of green landscaping and bougainvillea vines. You can rent bikes at Palm Beach Bicycle Trail Shop in Royal Poinciana Plaza to take on the North Lake Trail.
Royal Poinciana Plaza is located at 340 Royal Poinciana Way, Palm Beach, FL 33480. There is plenty of parking.
