Casablanca Cove is a beautiful and youthful area in Point Loma. Many people in their 20s hang out here at the lookout points at the end of each street. Santa Cruz Ave has the best end, because here you can climb the stairs down to Casablanca Cove. What a lovely spot, with sparkling waves rolling in and beauties tanning on the rocks. In spring, purple ice plant covers the side of the cliffs. Walk north along the rocks and you come to Ocean Beach Tide Pools, where tourists and families gather to check out the crashing waves and rock pools.

This area is just stunning in spring, with flowers absolutely everywhere. Walk the streets in Point Loma that lead down to the beach and you will find cute little houses, each with a unique garden of flowers, coral and shells, and pebbles. You can spend a delightful afternoon just checking out endless pretty scenes. Come in the afternoon, since the morning is often foggy, and flowers look better in the sun!
After, have a meal in the sweet garden area of Peace Pies, a six minute drive east. Usually I don't like vegan cafes that much but their tuna wrap is wrapped in an amazing green wrap that is so natural and thin. The flavors they create at Peace Pies are delicious! The wrap comes with kale chips that are pure kale with so much flavor! Finish off your meal with a slice of pie such as Lemon Blueberry Pie, all vegan. It tastes so good!
For a beautiful spot, check out Sunset Cliffs nearby, a six minute drive south.

The tide pools were more interesting than the beach. This is a beautiful place to visit.
