Coronado Ferry Landing has a pier plus Coronado Ferry Center shops. It's a wonderful spot with views of the San Diego skyline, where people gather on the grass night and day to take in the atmosphere. Coronado Ferry Center has touristy shops in an awesome location just slightly back from the grass, water, and pier. Here you will find lovely waterfront restaurants with views through glass panels and heat lamps to keep guests warm in the evening- check out Costa Azul, Village Pizzeria, or Peohe's.
There are also rows of shops in maritime-themed buildings with little landscaped areas with fountains. You can sit at tables under colorful umbrellas to eat your sandwich from Crown Town Deli or just enjoy the bustling atmosphere. We bought a walnut popsicle at a little shop and it was delicious! Shop for San Diego tee-shirts, hats, and souvenirs. There is a coffee place called Coronado Coffee Company with a walk-up window, and a Cold Stone Creamery ice cream shop.
After, sit on the lawn over the water with the many other lovers of the view- the San Diego skyline is glorious in front of you! Nighttime is even more magical, when the buildings shimmer golden.
From the Ferry Landing you can walk to the west on the Bayshore Bikeway 200 meters to delightful Centennial Park which has similar views of the city skyline. You can walk to the east on the same bike path to Coronado Tidelands Park, enjoying views of the Coronado Bridge.
You can also walk south on Orange Ave, the main street of Coronado town, which leads past cafes and bakeries all the way to Hotel del Coronado and the beach. Or walk around the side streets exploring the gardens and houses on the island.
Coronado Ferry Center shops are located at 1201 1st St, Coronado, CA 92118. There are two large parking lots.
