SLO Creek U-Pick Flower and Apple Farm

SLO Creek Farms is an organic U-Pick farm in a beautiful spot near Avila Beach town. The views here, framed by sunflowers, are just gorgeous. The cool California air makes for a perfect hour of picking. The flowers are all different colors and types, and it is so pleasant to go around choosing the right ones for your bouquet. It is almost $3 per flower, so keep that in mind as you choose. Little kids love to play the games on the lawn and just run around freely- it's an idyllic scene. We liked the flower picking area the best since it is a no-pet zone. The apple picking area had some dog poo on the ground here and there, and we were worried about stepping on it. Also, the apples weren't very happy when we visited, but it was early in the season. 

We put our flowers in a vase on the windowsill when we returned home and we are enjoying their lovely colors every time we walk past!

SLO Creek Farms is located in San Luis Obispo near Avila. The address is 6455 Monte Rd, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. 
Open Thurs-Mon 11-5. Closed Tues and Wed. 
The season is September to November.
