Arroyo Grande Village is a nice little main street with a park and a swinging bridge. The buildings along Branch Street, the main strip, are kept up beautifully. Some cafes you can try are: Humdinger Brewing, Sidewalk Cafe, Jaffa Cafe, and Tasty Thai. There is a park square where an art market and a farmer's market are held. The farmer's and art market is held each Saturday from 12-2:30pm at the square (300 E. Branch Street). At the park square there are benches and flowerbeds and a delightful swinging bridge that extends high above a creek and some parkland. On the other side of the bridge is a pleasant neighborhood with Heritage Square Park (a bandstand, toddler playground with horse bouncies, and a large lawn), South County Historical house with roses and a gazebo, a barn with a red tractor that kids can climb, and an old belltower school house that is now a museum. It's a fun walk into the past. Summer concerts are held at the rotary bandstand on every other Sunday at 1-3pm from early June to early September. Here is the 2023 schedule for summer concerts.
If you're hungry, there are an assortment of restaurants and cafes on Branch Street.
