There's a really cool feeling at the Inner Sunset Neighborhood. Also, it's close to the beach, and to Golden Gate Park.
Pana'ewa (Panaewa) Zoo has gorgeous vegetation and flowers. Some of the animals seem happy. Huge, beautiful playground for your kids!

Waimea town has misty green hills, two adorable churches, a wooden playground with gorgeous views, and lovely countryside drives.
You can't visit the lighthouse and amazing loop trail without an online reservation. You get to walk the loop and buildings by yourself, after a half hour talk by a ranger.
Unattractive town, with some cute cafes, bakeries, coffee shops, and breweries on the formerly-industrial Westside. The redwood forest areas are where this town shines.
