Drive around the south side of the island, seeing the volcano, a black sand beach, a painted church, and a cliff diving spot with bluest water!
Short 0.3 mile downhill trail past eucalyptus forest to rocky shale coastline with tide pools. Flooded most of the time, with stepping stones over mud.
Beautiful trail slightly above the lake with sweet pea flowers in spring!

19th century white, wooden chapel perched above the sea, with entire interior painted in rich colors with scenes. Garden with sweet statues. Gorgeous lush drive.
Wonderful swimming beach with white sand, black rock backdrop, clear bluegreen water, showers, but no shade.
Lovely place to sit with views of the vineyards and the morro called Islay Hill.
An incredible sight! This meteor crater is HUGE! Presented nicely by a discovery center, movie, and three lookout points around the crater.
